It’s no surprise that the future has been kind to the last album and song from Future Islands, but it should be fun for a lot of other artists too. Future Islands are pretty much the only one of us that has a real pop-punk sound, and we’re always looking to keep it fresh.
We’ve been working on a new album for several years now, and the recent track Future Islands have been a big part of that, but the future is only just around the corner. We hope you enjoy this bit of music, and keep your eyes open for some new music on Future Islands.
You can look forward to a lot more from Future Islands, including their debut album, Future Islands – The Future, which is due out in late summer 2015. Future Islands – The Future will include the band’s first new music since their 2009 release EP…and the next record.
The new Future Islands album is already available for pre-order on iTunes, and the band have just announced a pre-release show on August 5th at the Ace Hotel in Chicago. There you’ll find the band playing a new song from the album, as well as an exclusive first track. It’s up to you if you choose to buy the album, but we’re also told that you can get the album with instant digital download on iTunes, or on one of the bands upcoming tour dates.

I think the new song on iTunes is called “Futurelyrics.” It features a new song from the album called “that’s it future lyrics.
This might be the most exciting thing to happen to Deathloop in a long time. The fact is that the band and its songs are very much in the air. This new song we posted was written and recorded about three weeks ago, which is when we last heard the band. I think it’s a pretty awesome thing that we can download this album for free.
I still have yet to hear the new album, but I hear it sounds pretty awesome. It’s pretty cool to see Deathloop being released again after almost a decade.
